- 7:00 – 8:30pm: Featured Talks: Elias Freider - Luigi – Batch Data Processing in Python; Elias Freider and Erik Bernhardsson are the main authors of the recently open-sourced Luigi Python framework for batch data processing and dependency management, used by Spotify for crunching terabytes of data every day. Luigi, conceived and implemented at Spotify, provides an infrastructure that powers all kinds of stuff including recommendations, toplists, A/B test analysis, external reports, internal dashboards, etc.; Erik Bernhardsson – Collaborative Filtering @ Spotify – more details coming!; Axel Liljencrantz – How we use Cassandra @ Spotify – more details coming!
